Over the last few months a lot of work has been carried out at the Dam. A new slipway and access to it have been put in so that weed control can be made easier by boat. The level in the dam had to be dropped for this work to take place which gave the opportunity to remove a lot of silt that had settled at the car park end of the dam.

being a member of the club i took a quick run up to the dam on 6.1.2012 to see if there was any fish showing, on my arrival i was greeted by what i can only call what looks like a waste management site, could someone please let me know what is going on.

one would wonder how this rubbish could have been dumped, since the clubs so called bailiffs, would lead you to believe they never leave the place!

called into potterswalls on friday.seems the dam has become a dumping ground.has the commitee found out where all this crap came from yet,and what is being done to tidy it up.would appear to maybe have been a club member,as how did anyone else get access, through the locked gate.
