River back in the fields again with more heavy rain to come over the next few days so it looks like the fishings over for this season

Gave it one last throw today. My dad got a lean cock dolly on a wilkinson shrimp. Seen a few fish moving through a groyne. But other than that the 4 month wait begins....

Had a throw me self today river was still on the high side only hooked one dollaghan and practiced long distance catch release with it. Also seen a few brutes one showed and it was like someone had fallen in the splash it made he showed a few times but didn't look at my flies .
